Premios Cámara de la Moda

Diseñadores, actores, estilistas entre otros vallecaucanos destacados seran premiados.
Una gran alfombra roja se extenderá en Granada para dar paso a los Premios de la Cámara de la Moda Vallecaucana. Por ella desfilaran artistas, diseñadores, modelos, periodistas que dejan en alto el nombre del Valle del Cauca. Sera la oportunidad de apreciar a personalidades como Claudia Gurisatti, Vicky Dávila, Valentina Acosta, Martha Isabel Bolaños, Marlon Moreno, Alejandro Buenaventura, Marlín Patiño, Angélica Camacho, entre otros. La alfombra roja estará ubicada en la Av. 9 Norte entre calles 10 y 11, en este espacio estarán las Divas, (esculturas) del artista Emilio Hernandez quien será homenajeado por su obra y trayectoria. Entre las 4:30 y las 6:40 de la tarde, los caleños podrán ver a sus artistas preferidos desfilando por la alfombra roja. La premiación será a partir de las 7:00 de la noche en las instalaciones de Galería Kafé Kabaret

Yerci Puello Gets The Gold @ Haining (China)

La cartagenera Jercy Puello sigue demostrando ser la reina dorada de Colombia en los Campeonatos del Mundo de Patinaje de Carreras que se cumplen en Haining (China). La bolivarense sumó este miércoles su cuarta medalla personal, quinta en la cosecha nacional, tras imponerse en la prueba de los 200 metros ruta imponiendo nueva marca orbital de 18 segundos y 10 centésimas. Puello ha ganado además preseas doradas en los 300 metros, los 500 metros y relevos junto con Brigitte Méndez y Marta Ramírez. La primera jornada de la ruta dejó igualmente plata para Pedro Causil en 200 metros, plata con Brigitte Méndez en 20.000 metros eliminación y bronce con Carolina Magaña en 200 metros juvenil. Para este jueves se esperan actividades en los 500 metros juvenil, 500 metros mayores, eliminación juveniles y prueba por puntos para los mayores. Posteriormente se disputarán los relevos para cada categoría.

Bart Swings conquers Haining!

Bart Swings did the incredible. As a first year senior he grabbed the gold in the points/elimination race.

An impressive and fenominal effort from the 18 year old Belgium CadoMotus World team member. After he and helper Ferre Spruyt had to start in the back, Swings immediately took control over the race and never lost it.

After starting in the back of the group, both Bart and Ferre went to the front quickly and Bart immediately joined the Korean Geun Seong Son for the first breakaway, gathering some important first points. After they were caught back, the next Korean attached, but Ferre did some strong chasing work.

The second breakaway, which Swings almost missed, delivered him the victory. He took 17 points, the Italian Matteo Amabili 13 and Korean Son 12. CadoMotus skater Michael Byrne took an impressive fourth spot, gathering 6 points along the way.

Swings raced on the brand new and special for the World Championships of Haining designed Road War Firm wheels. An addition to the Road War Ex-Firm, which was already very succesful this season.
